Excellent hospitality by the host, was made to feel very welcome. Lovely site away from the busy holiday makers. Just what we were looking for. Very good space allocated with ample room to move and good fire breaks as this was a risk this summer. Could hear the birds singing and see the stars at night. Adult only was excellent so no screaming kids. Thoroughly recommend. Thank you Shelly

"Thank you for a wonderful stay. The site is in a wonderful location on a family farm with far stretching views of the countryside. It was a peaceful stay with well thought through facilities and welcoming hosts."

"What a wonderful long weekend we had, truly delightful. Managed by farmers - Eric and Shelly. This isnt a no frills site, yes basic, but the attention to detail is outstanding. The communal toilets/loos/washing up area has so much personal touch; Eco friendly washing up and cleaning products, full size fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle. The WCs are homely with recycled furniture and fresh hand towel. Shower area large plenty of hooks etc. Hairdryer, table and chairs, puzzles and books. All managed well - kept spotless. Met the cat that was chilling on the rug. Outside: Plenty of thoughtful recycling boxes and bbq ash collection bin. The site is perfectly flat and subdivided by willow windbreaks. No endless manicured sprayed pitches but plenty of room for nature. Huge pitches so plenty of space and privacy. Entertained by the chickens and ducks which did endless laps of the site. Generally quiet farm site apart from the odd moo and tractor machinery, No road noise. Eric and Shelly manage a holistic farm and extremely well educated in principals of cattle management and food production. We were sad to leave this haven...Bliss"

"A perfect camp site in a perfect location. The site is well maintained and the facilities are clean and full of home comfort's.... The little extra's like a toaster, microwave, fridge freezer, hair dryer and a special tutch of a radio. Top it all table and chairs for extra comfort. The owners/hostess of the site were welcoming accommodating very helpful and very friendly. I camp a lot and this site will go on my top ten list."

"The site is in a glorious spot and we revelled in the peace and beauty also the dark skies and glorious stars! Although the facilities were billed as basic (2 separate toilets with sinks, 2 separate showers, washing up sink….there was also a fridge, microwave, hairdryer and kettle (most useful as we’d forgotten ours!) ….and lots of extras! Our host, couldn’t have been more friendly, helpful & welcoming! We are looking forward to our next stay!"

"A beautiful setting on a small farm in very rural north Devon. Shelly was very welcoming and helpful. Ideally situated for those enjoy a quiet break away from it all and for those who enjoy exploring and hiking."
