Camping and Caravanning Certificated site
This is an adult-only Camping and Caravanning Certificated Site, which is open to members. Membership starts at £41 per annum and can be booked online or over the phone directly with the Camping and Caravanning Club.
This is a working farm with animals, tractors and machinery. For Health and Safety please do not go in out of bounds areas.
Departure and arrival times
Arrivals are between 5pm and 8pm. Please come to reception on arrival. Summer months are harvest months, and I am often busy until dark. If there is no one about, then I must be working on the farm. Just find a pitch and I will see you when I can.
Departures are between 8am and 10.30am.
Arrivals are between 5pm and 8pm. This is to allow time to cut the grass and clean the campsite, barbeques, fire pits and toilet facilities between bookings.
Please do not abuse my hospitality and arrive mid morning. If you arrive before 2pm there will be an additional charge of £10 per pitch.
A non refundable deposit of £36 is needed to secure a booking. When a reservation is made you will be sent an email with bank details so that you can do a bank transfer. This is a small certificated website and is too small to warrant credit card facilities.
The balance is due 3 weeks prior to arrival. If the balance is not received then the reservation will be cancelled.
Please make sure your insurance policy covers cancellations. Your deposit will only be refundable if the Government Covid lockdown restrictions prohibit you from coming. Alternatively you can transfer your booking to another date.
If you or one of your party catch Covid19 and need to self isolate, then your deposit is not refundable.
Please ensure that you clean up after yourself. If the facilities are dirty, it is because one of your fellow guests have left it like this. The toilet block is cleaned twice a day.
Please make sure all taps are turned off to save on water and electricity.
Dogs are welcome but limited to 2 per pitch. If too many guests book dogs for a particular night, dogs may be limited.
All dogs must be supervised at all times, and not allowed to freely wander around. Guests must also pick after their pets and place in the bin provided.
There are 10 farm cats. 5 of them are rescue cats and are very timid. Please respect them, and do not allow your dogs to chase them.
Barbeques and Campfires
Barbeques and campfires are allowed providing they are off the ground. Limited Firepits are available on a first come first served basis. Ashes must be placed in a carrier bag when cold, and put in the designated rubbish bin.
Please do not place them too close to your tent or caravan in case of fire. Please make sure you are aware where the fire extinguishers are.
Please put your recycling in the relevant bins. Please do not leave your junk, broken barbeques, broken chairs etc. There is a recycling centre in Bideford and another on the way to Bude.
There is also a bin for dog waste and bin for general waste.
Please do not put gas bottles in the bin.
