For those of you fortunate enough to be able to come and visit our opening hours are as follows:

Daily from 11.00a.m. until 6.00p.m. 1st April to 31 October.

The lavender garden, rose garden and access to the tea room is wheelchair friendly.

Website updates

We have had a lot of problems with our website over the past few months, but hopefully things will soon be back on track. We have now gone back to using Actinic as our service provider.

Michelle will be entering all the products which we sell online in the coming weeks (when she is not looking after the tea room, making up toiletries, performing aromatherapy massage’s and making chutneys……) so it may take some time. Our sincere apologies. Please give us a ring if you want to order something, and we will process your order over the phone.

Directions

Take the A39 from Barnstaple to Bude. Just after the Clovelly Cross roundabout, turn right onto the B3248 towards Hartland. Continue through the village of Hartland, and take the road to Stoke and Hartland Abbey. Turn right towards Hartland Abbey, following the Brown Tourist signs for the Lavender Farm.

We are 3 minutes drive from Hartland Abbey, 3 miles from Hartland Quay, and Hartland Lighthouse,
and 4 miles from Docton Mill Gardens.

24 miles west of Barnstaple,
16 miles north of Bude.

Coach parties

From 2009 we will be catering for coach parties. There is easy access for coaches to the Lavender Farm, and we have space for parking one coach. Please click on the coach party button for further information.

Lavender Gardens

Cheristow Tea Room

Cheristow Tea Room overlooks the lavender garden, and the glorious Devon countryside.

Morning coffee, light lunches and afternoon teas are served daily from 1 April to 31 October. The tea room is open from 11am to 6pm. Please click on the Tea Room button for more information and photos.

Cheristow Lavender Nursery

Eric specialises in growing lavender, and has over 100 varieties in his collection. He also grows fragrant English Roses, and has many different David Austin Roses. Please click on the Nursery button for further details.

Cheristow Lavender Shop

Cheristow Lavender Farm Gift Shop is open from 1 April to 31 October from 11am to 6pm. Other times leading up to Christmas is by appointment. Please ring Michelle on 01237 440101.

Lavender Weddings

Due to popular demand, we have started to make various lavender products for weddings. These include lavender sprigs for table nametags, lavender wedding favours, lavender confetti, and culinary lavender for lavender cup cakes.
